A hallway measuring 90 feetx7 feet requires 1/2 a fluid ounce of cleaning solution per square foot. How much cleaning solution is required to clean the hallway

    Area of the hallway = 90 * 7 = 630 ft^2

    Since each square foot needs a 1/2 ounce of solution to find the amount of fluid we need we multiply the area by 1/2.

    = 630 * 1/2

    = 315 fluid ounces (answer).
