what is the difference in there elevation an airplane flies at an altitude of 25,000 feet a submarine dives to a depth of 600 feet below sea level

    I did 25,000 - (-500) = 25,600

    I did - 500 (negative 500) because it is below the sea level and positive 25,000 because it above the sea level
