The area of the square (24in*24in) is 576.

    The area of the semi-circle is 226.08 [[ (r=12, pi=3.14) (A = 1/2 * (pi * r^2) ], r=12, r^2=144, pi=3.14, 144*3.14=452.16:2=226.08]

The total combined area of the banner is - 802.08 in
