    C. y equals negative fraction three over two end fraction times x plus two. Because to put that equation into slope-intercept form you need to get y by itself.

    6x + 4y = 8

    -6x - 6x

    4y = 8 - 6x

    /4 / 4 / 4

    y = 2 - 3/2x

    or

    y = - 3/2x + 2
