    List out the multiples of 9 until you go over 100

    9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90, 99, 108, ...

    In that list, erase anything that is not between 50 and 99, so we are left with this new shorter list

    54, 63, 72, 81, 90

    We can toss out 63 and 81 because they aren't even. So we now have these three values: {54, 72, 90}

    The problem states that "my tens digit is 5 more than the next the units digit" which is a bit confusing and badly worded. It seems like your teacher made a typo. I think the problem was supposed to say "the tens digit is 5 more than the units digit". If so, then the answer would be 72 because adding 5 to the units digit (2) gets us the tens digit (7). The other values 54 and 90 won't work like this.

    Answer: 72
