The planner for a company celebration bought 261 balloons. While he was inflating them, 11 of them overinflated and burst. If he had to place them evenly into 5 rooms, how many balloons were in each room?

    It is 50 because i subtracted 261 from 11 and got 50. Then i divided then i divided 250 by 5 and got 50.

    261-11=250:5=50

    so there 50 ballons in each room.
