David is watching maria and alma race electric trains around track. Maria train can go around the track in 10 seconds. Almas trains can go around the track in 12 seconds. Davids wonders, if the trains start qt the same time, how many seconds will it take for both trains to cross the finish line together the first time?     Multiples of 12 are: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, ...

    We can see that least common multiple of 10 and 12 is 60, therefore, it will take 60 seconds for both trains to cross the finish line together the first time.
