    Q+N=65

    .25Q+.05N=10.25

    Q=65-N

    .25 (65-N) +.05N=10.25

    16.25-.25N+.05N = 10.25

    -.20N = - 6

    N = 6/.20 = 30

    Q = 65-30 = 35

    Answer is 35 quarters and 30 nickels
