Twenty packs of fruit snacks come in a box. Each pack weighs 6 ounces. Studwnts eat some. Thete are 48 ounces of fruit snacks left in the box. How many ounces of fruit snacks did the students eat?

    Explanation

    If there are 20packs of fruit snacks in a box and each pack weighs 6 ounces, the total weight of 20packs will be 20*6 = 120ounces

    If there are 48 ounces of fruit snacks left in the box after student has eaten some, the amount of ounces of fruit eaten by the student will be:

    Total number of ounces of 20packs - weight of left over snacks

    = 120-48

    = 72ounces
