    F (x) = 7-3x g (x) = 3x-7

    First let's solve for f (1)

    f (1) = 7-3 (1)

    f (1) = 7-3

    f (1) = 4 * we will save this for later

    Let's now solve for g (1)

    g (1) = 3 (1) - 7

    g (1) = 3-7

    g (1) = - 4

    Now we can find f (1) + g (1)

    f (1) = 4 and g (1) = - 4

    4 + (-4) = 0
