The mean of a set of 5 numbers is 39 and the median is 40. If the mean of the largest two numbers is 49, then what is the sum of the smallest two?

    Sum of 5 numbers = 39*5 = 195

    largest two numbers sum = 49*2 = 98

    median = 40

    sum of smallest two numbers = 195 - (98+40) = 195-138 = 57
