You need to annex the zeroes. Don't worry about the 9 zeroes. Just do 5*1 which equals to 5. Then add the 9 zeroes back.

    5,000*1,000,000 = 5,000,000,000

Divorce the zeros from the numbers:

    5 x 1 = 5

Marry all the zeros with the answer.

    5000000000
