Which operation would you use to solve the problem; Every car in the parking lot has 4 wheels. If there are 9 cars in the lot, how many wheels are there altogether?

    4*9. I would choose multiply to find this answer because the total number of cars is 9 and if each car has 4 wheels you find out the total amount of wheels by multiplying 4 times each car and there are 9 cars so 4*9=36 wheels total. hope this is what you needed and that I didn't confuse you.
