The difference of the same side interior angles of two parallel lines is 35°. Find the angles.

    The 2 angles are 107.5 and 72.5 degrees:-

    Same side interior angles add up to 180 degrees. So if the 2 angles are x and y we can make 2 equations:-

    x + y = 180

    x - y = 35 Adding these 2 equations:-

    2x = 215

    x = 107.5

    and y = 180 - 107.5

    y = 72.5
