To find the surface area of a three dimensional figure, you must find the area of each of its faces and then add the areas.

    say its a cube and each face hase a length of 4. teake the numer 4 and times it by 6 because there is 6 faces on a cube and the length is 4 so 4 times 6 would give your answer!
