You find a common denominator by multiplying 5/6 by 2. You get 10/12 and 1/12. There are 10 servings.

I would divide. To divide, keep change flip, so you're solving 5/6 times 12/1, which makes 60/6, which can be simplified to 10. So therefore, there are 10 servings. Another way to solve is to make 5/6 into an equivalent fraction with a denominator of 12, which would make 10/12. If 1/12 is a serving, it'd also make 10 servings.
