    10 dollars. 8:4=2. 8+2=10

    25% = 4

    10 dollars

25 % can be converted to a fraction of. 25 (do this by dividing 25% by 100 so 25/100=.25)

Then do. 25 x 8 which will get you 2 dollars. So the 2 dollars is 25% of the sale. Then do 2+8 = 10

So when you sell it you will make a 25% profit (the 2 dollars)
