How do the graphs of y=1/x and y=5 / (x+6) compare

    Both graphs have the same shape but the following differences:

    By looking at the graph we can se that the graph of y=5 (x+6) is translated six units to the left with respect to the graph of y=1/x.

    Also, the graph of y=5 (x+6) grows or decay much faster than the graph of y=1/x, because the graph is enlarged by 5 units.
