Alicia's garden is 6.3 square feet in length and 12.6 square feet in width. Tomato plants require 2 square feet of space. How many Tomato plants can Alicia fit in her garden?

    If the garden is 6.3 feet long and 12.6 feet wide, then

    the area of the garden is

    (6.3 feet) times (12.6 feet) = 79.38 square feet.

    If a tomato plant needs 2 square feet of space, then

    79.38 / 2 = 39 tomato plants,
