A committee of 6 students are being selected from a class of 10 girls and 8 boys. How many committees are possible if three must be girls and 3 must be boys?

    Step-by-step explanation:

    For the girls ... there are 10 people for the first girl ... 9 people for the second (not counting the first girl) ... 8 for the last girl. For the boys there are 8 for the first boy ... and so on.

    At the end ... it looks like 10*9*8+8*7*6
