    Volume of a rectangular prism = w * h * l

    w = width

    h = height

    l = length

    In our instance,

    w = 4ft

    h = 0.25ft

    l = 8ft.

    Plug these numbers into our volume formula.

    V = 4ft * 0.25ft * 8ft.

    Multiply these numbers together.

    V = 8 cubic feet

    The volume of the cemet used to make the sidewalk is 8 cubic feet
