    Answer: 20 irises 80 tulips

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Set an equation to be

    i (irises) + t (tulips) = 100

    t = 4i

    Substitute t into an equation

    i + 4i = 100

    Solve equation

    i + 4i = 100

    5i = 100

    i = 100/5

    i = 20

    Then substitute i into t equation

    t = 4i

    t = 4 (20) = 80
