A can in your pantry has a 1.4 inch radius and is 5 inches tall. What is the surface area of the can to the nearest tenth?

    Formula for surface area is pi DH. diameter is radius multiplied by 2 which is 2.8. pi is22/7. multiply 22/7 to 2.8 which is 8.8. multiply 8.8 with height (5 inches) to get 44.0 as the answer
