1. Calculate the area of a major segment whose chord subtends angle of 85 at the centre of a circle of radius 3cm. 2. A solid cone has a base radius of 3cm and a vertical height of 21cm. Calculate its volume.

    Area of Segment = πr²θ/360 - ½r²sinθ

    =π*3²*85/360-½*r²sin85

    = 2.193cm²

    volume of cone = ⅓πr²h

    =⅓*π*3²*21
