    You need to get y by itself and to do that you subtract 4x to both sides to have - 5y=15-4x now divide - 5 from y and do that to all sides so

    15/-5 = - 3

    -4/-5 equals positive 4/5

    leaving with;

    y = - 3 + 4/5x
