How to multiply fractions with different denominators

    Explanation: When multiplying two fractions together, we multiply across the numerators and we also multiply across the denominators.

    Unlike adding and subtracting fractions, you don't need to have the denominators be the same.

    Just simply multiply across the top and bottom.

    However, always make sure to write your answer in lowest terms!
