Classify the lines as parallel, perpendicular, or intersecting:

y=4x-3

y=-1/4 x+7

    I believe they are perpendicular because their slopes are negative reciprocals of each other.

    In y=mx+b, m is the slope.

    So the slopes are 4 and - 1/4, so perpendicular.
