The revenue of leisure travel is given by f (x) dollars, where x is the dollar amount spent by the company on advertising. the amount spent by leisure at time t on advertising is given by g (t) dollars. what does the function f ∘ g represent?

    Now we have to find about what does the composite function (f o g) represent.

    By definition of composite function we know that (fog) (t) = f (g (t))

    That means t is input of function g (t) and g (t) is input of function f (x)

    "t" represents time and g (t) represents amount spent by leisure during advertising.

    So when g (t), the amount spent is used as input into f (x) then it will result revenue for time t spent by leisure at time t on advertising.
