Clayton used a combination of brown and white tiles on a kitchen floor. For every 2 dozen brown tiles, he uses 8 white tiles. What is the rate of brown tiles to white tiles?

    The ratio would be 3:1

    2 dozen = 24 so the ratio would be 24:8 but both numbers are divisible by 8
