A TV has a height:width in ratio 3:4. In a scale drawing the width is 10cm. What would the height be?

    The height:weight ratio is 3:4 which can be written as 3/4

    In the scale drawing, the ratio is x:10 or x/10

    Set the two ratios together.

    3/4 = x/10

    30 = 4x

    x = 7.5
