    8am = - 14

    Noon = - 4 (10 degrees warmer)

    Noon to 4 is twice the increase of 8 to noon.

    The increase at 8 to noon was 10, so we double that to 20.

    We add 20 to the noon temperature of - 4.

    The temperature is 16.

    It is 20 because if it started by - 14 and it kept getting warmer we got out of the negitives and got into the positives
