The ratio of Gary's money to Dorothy's is 4:5. If Gary has $28, how much money does dorothy have? Must be answered using units.

    Gary has 4 parts

    so, 1 part is 28:4=7

    Dorothy has 5 parts

    so, 5*7=35

    Ans: $35
