16-3p=2/3p+5
add 3p to each side
16 = 3 2/3 p + 5
subtract 5
11 = 3 2/3 p
change to an improper fraction
11 = (3*3+2) / 3 p
11 = 11/3 p
multiply by 3/11 on each side
11 * 3/11 = 3/11 * 11/3 p
3 = p
