How would I solve this?

John traveled 16 1/3 laps around the track and one lap around the track is 400 m long. How many meters did John travel?

    16 laps would be 6400 m

    16 times 400 is 6400m

    1/3 of 400 is 133m

    6400+133 = 6533m

    the answer is 6533m
