neglecting air resistance the distance in feel traveled by a freely falling object is given by the function s (t) = 16t^2 where t is time in seconds the height of a certian tower is 1022feet. how long would it take an object to fall to the ground from the top of the building?

    About 7.99 seconds, the way I figured it out was I did 1022 divided by 16 so that is could be easier to solve, which equals 63.875, when I took the square root of 63.875 I got 7.99.
