Find the perimeter of a square with an area of 361 square ft

    area of a square equal the side squared

    A = s^2

    361 = s^2

    take the square root of each side

    sqrt (361) = s

    19 = s

    We only take the positive square root because lengths have to be positive.

    s = 19 ft
