Hi,
Start with 6b-27=3 (5b-2)
then add 27 to each side, 6b-27+27=15b-6+27
next simplify, 6b=15b+21
now subtract 15b from both sides, 6b-15b=15b+21-15b
simplify again, - 9b=21
divide both sides by - 9, - 9b/-9 = 21/-9
answer: - 7/3
