The sides of a square are increased by a scale factor of 7 the perimeter of the smaller square is 16 feet. What is the perimeter of the larger square

    Perimeter of the smaller square = 16

    That means that one side = 16/4 = 4

    That means that the side of the larger square = 4 + 7 = 11

    Perimeter of the larger square = 4 * 11 = 44 feet.
