Bridget measured a restaurant and made a scale drawing. The restaurant's kitchen is 6 millimeters long in the drawing. The actual kitchen is 10 meters long. What scale factor does the drawing use?

    1 meter = 1,000 millimeters. So, the scale is:

    7 mm:1,000 mm Divide both sides by 7

    1 mm:142 6/7 mm - This is the scale that Tess used.
