The length of a rectangular field is 6m less than twice the width. The perimeter is 312 m. Find the length of the field

    A) L + 6 = 2W OR

    A) L + 6 - 2W = 0

    B) 2L + 2W = 312 Adding A and B

    3L + 6 = 312

    3L = 306

    Length = 102

    A) 102 + 6 = 2W

    108 = 2W

    Width = 54
