A rectangle has length 3 cm greater than its width. it has an area of 28cm squared, find the dimensions of the rectangle

    Area of a rectangle = length x width.

    28 = y times (y + 3). If we guess that the length is 4, then 4 + 3 = 7. This works because 4 x 7 = 28.
