Y = 9x? 3 ... I dont know the sign between 9x and 3 ... but we do not need it to solve this problem. In y = mx + b form, the slope is in the m position and the y int is in the b position. The slope of this equation is 9. A parallel line will have the same slope. So ur equation needs a slope of 9 and a y int of - 2.

    so ur parallel equation is : y = 9x - 2
