The radius of a semicircle is 1 mile. What is the semicircle's perimeter?

    The perimeter of a circle is given by:

    P = 2 * π * r where r is the raduis.

    Therefore the length of a semicircle is π * r

    The radius is therefore

    r = 10.28mm / π = 3.272mm
