In the? 1970s, due to world? events, there was a gasoline shortage in the United States. There were often long lines of cars waiting at gas stations. If there were a million cars in? line, bumper to? bumper, with average length of 9.04? feet, how long would that line be in? miles?

    That would be approximately 1,712.12 miles.

    I got it by doing 9.04 x 1,000,000

    9,040,000 feet / 5280 feet (1 mile) = 1712.1212 miles
