2y+6x=0

2y+6x=0
-6x from both sides
2y=-6x+0
then divide by 2 to each side so it looks like this 2y/2=-6x+0/2
the 2 cancels 2y so you're left with y
Then divide - 6/2=-3 and 0/2=0
y=-3x+0
