Manny and Emma are both completing in a long jump competition at their school. Manny can jumpt four fifths of the distance that Emma can jump. Manny can jump 40 inches. How far can Emma jump?

    You just divide 40 by 4/5 (which is just multiplying by the reverse - 5/4) and that gives you Emma's length.
