A team fixed a road that was 4,800 m long. After working for 30 days, there was still 1,440 m of the road left to fix. On average, how many meters did the team fix per day?

    The total of the road is 4800 m long. 4800-1440=3360m

    We subtract what they have yet to cover from the total to get what they have covered.

    So in 30 days they covered 3360 metres.

    3660/30 (3660 is divided into 30 equal groups) = 122m

    On average they covered 122 metres per day.
