    F (x) = 3x+3

    F (3x) - 2 this means to change all x's in f (x) with 3x and the - 2 means subtract 2 from the answer

    F (x) = 3x+3

    F (3x) = 3 (3x) + 3

    = 9x+3

    then - 2

    = 9x + 3 - 2

    = 9x + 1

    the linear transformation is that it went from 3x to 9x or 3 times steeper

    and it went from + 2 to + 1 or it moved down vertically by 2
