x^3 - 7x^2 + 4x + 30
Step-by-step explanation:
x times x^2 = x^3 - 5 times x^2 = - 5x^2
x times - 2x = - 2x^2 - 5 times - 2x = 10x
x times - 6 = - 6x - 5 times - 6 = 30
Combine like terms
(-5x^2 and - 2x^2) = - 7x^2
(10x - 6x) = 4x
Carry down the remaining (x^3 and 30)
x^3 - 7x^2 + 4x + 30
