What is the greatest common factor of 30 and 75?

    15. Why? Because 30 = 15 x 2 and 75 = 15 x 5; 2 and 5 have no common factors, which means that 15 is the largest number which goes evenly into both numbers - we can't "pull" any more common factors out from 2 and 5.
